Kevin Uhrik, OTR/L, CHT, specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation, dedicating his career to assisting individuals in regaining function and purpose in their daily lives.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at San Diego State University and pursued his passion for occupational therapy, earning a Master of Arts (MOT) in Occupational Therapy and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) with a focus on hand rehabilitation from the University of Southern California. In 2024, he earned a specialty certification in upper extremity rehabilitation as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Kevin has maintained a steadfast presence in outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation, utilizing tailored interventions and custom splints to address diverse upper extremity conditions. He previously served as a fieldwork educator for several occupational therapy programs in California and East Tennessee to foster the growth of future occupational therapists.
Kevin’s clinical interests extend to ergonomics assessment, where he proactively recommends modifications to home and work environments to optimize comfort and functionality during daily activities.
Outside the clinic, Kevin enjoys the company of friends, his wife and his loyal canine companion, George. He enjoys designing and 3D-printing puzzles and outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, biking and disc golf.
