Administrative positions

Coder  – Full-time, for busy multi-physician orthopedic practice.  Main duties will consist of applying/auditing 2021 E&M coding guidelines for office visits.  Some opportunities will be available for surgical coding but primary responsibilities will focus on office encounters. Working, up to date knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding required. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.  CPC or CPC-A required.  Additional administrative duties as directed by the Coding Manager and Director.

Patient Collections – Full-time, West location, M-F 8-5 with potential remote work after training, assisting with accounts receivable (A/R) management for physician claims. Monitors all accounts with delinquent patient balances. Works closely with patients as well as with the front desk to collect balances, processing bankruptcies, returned statements, providing patients with information or requested documentation, and review patient balances for outsourcing to Payment Monitoring or to Collections. Medical billing experience preferred. Must be detail oriented and team player, hungry, humble and smart.  

General Accounting Manager – We are looking for an Accounting Manager, who will report to the Controller in the Central Business Office.

Duties include:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
  • Overall financial close process
  • Monthly journal entries
  • Related entities and intercompany transactions
  • Periodic statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Drive accounting improvements in accuracy and efficiency
  • Improve processes cross-functionally with other departments
  • Ensure proper controls
  • Support business transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
  • 5-7 years of related accounting experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience
  • Experience with in-house payroll administration, Kronos a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with property and partnership accounting a plus
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective oral and written communications skills

Patient Account Representative – Full-time, provide excellent customer service through prompt response and courteous communication, assist patients and insurance provider representative regarding accounts or charges by providing requested documentation, correction of errors and reviewing submission to Extended Business Office, Use ethical and professional business practices, adhere to patient confidentiality, team oriented.

Senior Staff Accountant – We are looking for a Staff Accountant, who will work within the Accounting department in the Central Business Office.

Duties include:

  • Monthly journal entries
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll entries, tax filings and regulatory reporting
  • Periodic statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Respond to internal requests for information
  • Improve department efficiency
  • Support business transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of related accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with journal entries, month end close, and reconciliations

Revenue Accounting Specialist – Full-time, responsible for the recording and reconciling of all incoming revenue outlets and payer sources. These are high volume revenue streams that are reconciled between the practice management system and the corporate bank account. This role will utilize a full understanding of the revenue cycle to research any variances and also expand on process improvement opportunities. It will also include assisting the Accounting and Financial Reporting teams with other duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Daily recording and reconciling of cash deposits, Researching cash variances with internal revenue cycle team, Month end balance sheet cash reconciliations, Responsible for internal reporting of revenue, Process and efficiency improvements, Extracting, compiling, and sorting of data, Scanning and processing of physical checks, Other assigned projects and duties, Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, health administration, or business administration preferred.  An equivalent of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a healthcare or business related field. Possess knowledge of processes related to the revenue cycle, Advanced Excel user with the ability to improve and develop spreadsheets, Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills, Effective communicator of both written and verbal communication skills, Accounting ERP or Healthcare PMS system knowledge a plus.

Clinical positions

Scribe – Full-time and part-time openings, entering patient visit information in EHR. Medical terminology and computer skills important. Upbeat and fast –paced clinic. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.

Medical Assistant/Scribe – multiple full-time positions, assisting physician in clinic, pulling patients back, entering demographic information, various clinical and clerical duties. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.

Registered Nurse, Pre-op – PRN, 3 days per week commitment, must have pre-op experience, busy ASC, team player, IV skills.

Registered Nurse, Recovery – full-time, take care of patients post surgery, communicate with family members, turnover beds, team player attitude. Orthopedic experience preferred.

Medical Records Scanner – Full-time, scanning medical records in to electronic medical records. Ability to be cross-trained for other office jobs, such as admitting. Need someone who can multitask, has attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment. Positive team player attitude is a must.

OR Attendant –  full-time positions, assist with transporting patients to the operating room for surgery. Help clean OR suites after surgery and set up for cases to follow. Transport instruments from sterile processing to the Ortho Tool Shed. Assist with patient positioning and transfer in the operating room. On the job training is provided. Good team work and a positive attitude are essential.

Registered Nurse – 2 Full-time, 1 for 7a -7p (3 12 hour days), 2 for 7a -5:30p (4 10 hour days), assist in orthopedic trauma, surgical experience required, team player.

Surgical Tech – Full-time, University Orthopedic Surgeons, 7a -7p (3 12 hour days) or 7a -5:30p (4 10 hour days), assist in orthopedic trauma, Certified Surgical Tech required, team player.

X-ray Tech – PRN positions, ARRT and state licensure required. Team players, producing qualify radiographs for orthopedic disagnosis.
