Administrative positions

Controller – The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with management and staff from various areas of the organization, have a strong desire to embrace technological solutions to improve fiscal operations and support operational needs, and desire to be part of the senior management team.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises the Accounting Managers and provide direction on accounting staff responsibilities
  • Is responsible for oversight of the general accounting functions, including the monthly close process and financial reporting
  • Oversees the production of routine financial reporting and provides additional analysis as needed
  • Coordinated with the Director of Information Technology on the use and maintenance of the accounting, payroll, and practice management systems
  • Oversees the budgeting process
  • Oversees financial controls, policies and procedures, and departmental due dates
  • Implements enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency and to improve the timeliness and scope of relevant financial data
  • Fosters a positive team oriented working environment for the accounting department
  • Works with external CPA firms in tax related duties as needed and in coordinating financial reviews
  • Oversees the maintenance of financial reporting for the Physician Practice, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Malpractice Captive Insurance Company, and Real Estate Partnerships
  • Reports to the Chief Financial Officer

B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent plus 8-10 years professional practice experience required

CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.

Accounting Manager – Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

Staff Accountant – Full-time, provides cash management, payroll and accounts payable functions, prepares journal entries, and assists in monthly close process, reconciliation of bank accounts and preparation of monthly financial reports, maintain fixed asset records, reports to Accounting Manager, A.A or B.S. in Accounting or 2-6 years of accounting experience preferred.

Admissions – Full-time, check-in patients, front desk as needed and scan medical records, work independently and multitask, excellent customer service, Ideal Team Player.

Revenue Cycle Pre-surgery Collection – Full-time, prepares and collects patient’s portion of elective surgeries.

Revenue Cycle Insurance Collections – 2 full-time positions, Responsible for assisting with Accounts Receivables (A/R) management for multiple Care Centers. Monitors accounts with an insurance balance as part of the billing and collection process, this individual reviews and monitors various reports including by not limited to clearinghouse rejections, claims denial tasks, and A/R aging reports. Must be detail-oriented: medical billing experience is preferred.

Patient Accounts/Charge Entry (Durable Medical Equipment) – Full-time, charge entry for multiple physicians, respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner, good communication skills to obtain needed information for timely billing. Follows corporate policy and HIPAA guidelines.

Medical Front Desk – 2 Full-time, one at Dowell Springs, one verification float, great customer service skills, bubbly personality, able to follow instructions, team player mentality in fast-paced environment. Experience in therapy office and /or medical office is preferred. Insurance verification/authorization experience is preferred for the float position.

Medical Receptionist – Full-time, Check-in/check-out, schedule follow-up appointments at check out. Checking in various types of appointments, post co-pays/payments. Must be willing to fill in different areas of department with flexible schedule. Strong communication and customer service skills. Team player.

Medical Secretary – Full-time, Works closely with physicians and advanced practice providers as well as the Care Center Director. Candidate must be proficient in MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Dependability in every sense is essential. Must have a professional demeanor and a positive attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication as well as exceptional organization skills are a must.

Surgery Scheduler – Full-time, Experienced surgery scheduler needed for a very busy multi-physician office. Must be detail oriented, dependable, and customer service oriented. Orthopedic office experience desired. NextGen EHR experience a plus.

Clinical positions

Registered Nurse – 3 Full-time, 1 for 7a -7p (3 12 hour days), 2 for 7a -5:30p (4 10 hour days), assist in orthopedic trauma, surgical experience required, team player.-96

Registered Nurse, Pre-op Holding – PRN, RN for busy pre-op area, must be energetic and motivated, ACLS, PALS preferred. Pre-operative experience in hospital or ambulatory center preferred. Strong IV skills are a must. 2 days per week required but often as for additional days to fill needs.

Physical Therapy Assistant – PRN, UTMC location, be available to work any locations as needed coverage. Provision of patient care, flexibility, adaptability a must. Customer service focused, ideal team player.

Surgical Tech – 2 Full-time, 1 for 7a -7p (3 12 hour days), 1 for 7a -5:30p (4 10 hour days), assist in orthopedic trauma, Certified Surgical Tech required, team player.

Surgical Tech – 1 Full-time and 1 PRN, orthopedic experience preferred, Certified Surgical Tech required, team player.

Hand Therapist – Full-time, Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist, prefer CHT or extensive hand experience. Ideal Team Player. Customer service focused, flexible and adaptable.

Staff Physical Therapist – Full-time, Licensed physical therapist to provide orthopedic care. Team player, customer service focused. Flexibility and adaptability a must.

Registered Nurse, PACU – PRN, RN for busy PACU area, must be energetic and motivated, ACLS, PALS preferred. Post-operative care experience in hospital or ambulatory center preferred. 2 days per week required but often as for additional days to fill needs.

Surgical Tech – 2 Full-time, 1 for 7a -7p (3 12 hour days), 1 for 7a -5:30p (4 10 hour days), assist in orthopedic trauma, CST required, team player.
